Santiago City given 100M fund for tourism roads

The city government of Santiago has been allotted a PHP100-million fund to finance its tourism roads going to and within Dariuk Hills, the city’s premiere religious and tourism destination in Barangay Balintocatoc here.

Mayor Joseph Tan said the city was the first local government unit in Cagayan Valley region to receive the tourism road project allotment this year from Region 2 offices of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). The city government has recently broken ground to jump-start the Dariuk Hills road construction.
