Huwebes ng umaga, Mayo 31, nang magbakbakan ang tropa ng militar at Communist New People’s Army Terrorist Group (CNTG) sa Barangay Benguet, bayan ng Echague.

Kasalukuyang nagsasagawa ng Focus Military Operations ang militar ng maka-engkwentro nila ang grupo ng NPA na nagdulot ng bakbakang tumagal ng dalawampung minuto.
