PRRD satisfied with Isabela govt's response after Rosita

President Duterte said he is satisfied with how the government responded to the effects of Typhoon Rosita in Isabela early this week.

“From the looks of it, the damage has been very extensive lalo sa (especially with the) road network. There’s a lot to do there, plus the missing persons which is worrying us now. How many are still inside that DPWH [building] and those houses swept away never caught our attention,” he said.

Despite this, Duterte said he is satisfied with the government’s response and noted how the main objective should be bringing the province back to normal.

“I’m satisfied with the response of government. Everybody is here. I think everybody is doing his duty. I’d like to thank you for that,” he said.
